Thoughts on Coach
John Stevens 'The Hockey News' NHL Coach of the Year and 2 time Stanley Cup winner...
"Stephen was honest with his own assessment and he had the ability to pull back, analyze the process of what it takes to play at the highest level and put together a plan to help aspiring young players reach their dream. The fact that he was always a good teammate will help him relate to today’s player. He has experience playing at the college level, Pro level and European level. He has a well-rounded background of playing experience and the passion necessary to help direct players to the next level."
Jack Parker, Legendary Boston University coach...
Steve Wood is such a good kid, he's a great leader and always seems to get the big goal against us"
Paul Pooley, Former Providence College Coach, current associate head coach of Notre Dame...
"He's grown a lot as a person. We're very proud of his development NOT ONLY AS A HOCKEY PLAYER BUT AS A PERSON. Stephen has grown as an individual- and that's what your in it for, to see kids like that develop."
Longtime U-lowell and U-Maine head coach. Currently coach at KUA, Tim Whitehead...
"Steve has been a very solid two-way player...I am very impressed with his complete game"
